I suppose that the people of California have spoken, and for once, spoken in a way that I agree with. Proposition 8, which is the state constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage, actually passed. To me that is a surprise, considering how liberal I believe this state to be, but it is a most welcome surprise.
So now what happens to all of the "couples" that had their wedding? To me they should be voided, but that is an issue for the courts to decide.
This was definitely a victory for Marriage.
