Voting in America

Ok, I have voted and gotten my "My Vote Counted" sticker and I am watching the election coverage on Fox News. I can't stand the liberal mouth pieces of CNN or MSNBC, so it is the local coverage and Fox News, and for my online looks, Michael Drudge's Drudge Report.

There was no line to speak of when I voted, and that is mainly due to the huge number of early voting here in Texas. I believe the current percentage may surpass 80% of the registered voters. That is awesome, but it is a sad state of affairs when it takes having a black presidential candidate and a female vice presidential candidate to draw out the voters. At least people are voting.

Now, what the heck is up with the people in Philadelphia? There was a Fox News report I first saw on Drudge that said members of the Black Panthers were intimidating voters.

Since when did we become a third world nation? The police were called and they escorted the one with the nightstick away. WTH? A nightstick at a voting place? I don't think that would ever happen here in Texas.

Anyway, if you haven't voted, then do so. You're running out of time.
