Being Flipped Off -- Handled

I was flipped off this morning on my way to work.

He was older than I was I believe, as he looked about 45 or maybe 50. Very little hair, wearing glasses, dressed in shirt and tie, and driving a Mercedes.

My crime? I didn't pull out of the left lane when he flashed his brights at me.

Why?

Well, I was doing 75 at the time. The speed limit is 60 and I feel that when there are NO cars around me, and you want by, then pass me up. Especially if I am going 15 miles OVER the speed limit.

So I raised my coffee to him in salute and kept going. About a minute later he passed me up and flipped me off.

Now my first thoughts are your typical thoughts..."Jerk. Stupid no count so and so..." And I really wanted to make him pay. But that is not the way to handle that situation. Even if you want to.

We are commanded to bless our enemies, pray for those who would persecute us. So that is what I did. And it took a lot for me to do it, but I was reminded of this in that way that only HE can remind you of. So I blessed him there in my car as he drove away, and then prayed for him.

I hope your day is a good one, and blessed as well.

You are suppose to stay to the right. It is very well known. I would have passed you and prayed for you to gain common sense, old man!! I would also prayed for you to be enlightened to knowing that you don't own the road way.

No problem, this just yet another reason I am a better driver. Then again, not ground breaking news.
